About Sydney Rasmussen
Before discovering UX design, I was unknowingly practicing one of its core skills as a health coach: Asking "why" five times to uncover root causes.
When patients struggled to retain information in an online neuroprotective program, I prototyped a companion workbook that prompted responses such as, "I would pay hundreds of dollars for something like this!" This crystallized my belief that impact comes from satisfying real needs rather than just building solutions.
With a degree in Experience Design and Management, I understood the power of empathy and strategy—but I wanted to master the craft. I taught myself Figma, attended design conferences, and took on freelance projects, leading to a Product Design Internship at nCino.
Now I’m seeking a full-time UX or user research role where I can turn insights into traction, advocate for users and business outcomes, and design experiences that truly matter.
